Have U.S. Elections Become Big Business?

Several Mainstream Media outlets have stated that the 2008 U.S. Presidential candidates raised close to One Billion dollars. From Newsmax to The Wall Street Journal, several articles are written about where the money comes from. However, what you won’t find anywhere in the press or on the Internet is — Where does all that money go?

Over the next few months, I’ll make an honest attempt to find out how much money the MSM raked in from Senator John McCain and President-Elect Barack Obama’s campaigns. Chances are good that the total amount will be staggering which will then raise the question — Why would the MSM ever want real election reform? We The People should also be asking the FCC — Why is our American electoral process “For Sale”?

Good morning,

Much is written about where U.S. political campaign donations come from. What’s never reported is where does all that money go?

Since GE is the direct owner of NBC and it’s affiliate media companies. I’d like to ask this simple question.

How much profit did NBC and it’s affiliates receive from the 2008 election season? These profits would be direct payments from political campaigns or political organizations.
